You couldn't have asked for a more beautiful day yesterday. We woke up early (ok, so that part wasn't beautiful but snuggling with Preston was) and enjoyed a big breakfast. I went to church and ran errands while everyone stayed at home, playing with Preston and visiting. In the afternoon we piled into the Yukon and enjoyed the gorgeous hour long drive to Truckee, where we met my parents for lunch. Both sets of grandparents had fun entertaining Preston and catching up with each other. After lunch we decided to take the scenic drive back and detoured through North Shore. The scenery was breath taking and the drive memorable. We laughed and talked and thoroughly enjoyed being surrounded by family. Once we got home Holly and I went for a walk then Preston and I watered the flowers around the property. We ended the perfect day with a nightcap on the back deck. The weather was beautiful, the company was fabulous and the day was perfect. You can't ask for much better than that!
