Excellent Expo

I can't believe in rehashing our weekend that I forgot to mention the Expo! There was a Baby Expo in town that had fabulous vendors. Preston and I went on Saturday and I'm glad we did. I was able to get him fingerprinted and his picture taken so, heaven forbid, if anything ever happened we would have records for the authorities. That was an important part of the Expo for me but the most sentimental part was when I got to personally thank the PICU manager at Renown Hospital for helping us when Preston was so sick last Summer. She didn't remember us but was very touched that I gave her a sincere thank you for all that the staff did to help us and Preston during that difficult time. She kept oohing and aahing over Preston and how it makes her happy to see him so healthy. I walked away from the Renown booth, pretty happy that I had gone to the Expo just to run into her. Other than those two big moments, we had fun getting a BUNCH of free stuff and watching the other babies, kids and mommies. There were a few booths that I wanted to visit but didn't get to because of time restraints. I'm looking forward to the next one so I can have more time to visit the exhibits and do activities with Preston. I didn't like the fact that the Expo was held at a smoke filled casino, but other than that it was a great event to attend!
